 AAA and The Meemic Foundation Award Kindergarten Teacher a Classroom Makeover

Allatoona is the first recipient of 3 winning schools in Georgia

WHO:             AAA and The Meemic Foundation in partnership with Lakeshore® are giving away 12 classroom makeovers valued up to $10,000 each.

 

WHAT:           Three schools in Georgia were chosen to receive a classroom makeover expertly designed to engage students and challenge them to think creatively. Grant applications

                       were accepted October 1 to December 31, 2019.  Winners were selected and notified in February of 2020. Morgan Reynolds, Kindergarten teacher at Allatoona

                       Elementary School was the first to receive her classroom makeover.

 

                       “I’m very thankful, this couldn’t have come at a better time,” said Reynolds. “We are not just a school, we are a place where many of our students come for food and clothing. We are family  

                        here at Allatoona and this grant is both a huge blessing and much needed positive news in all that’s happening in our communities today. Thank you!”

                     

                       Mrs. Reynolds also received an additional classroom grant from Windy Korn, AAA Agency Owner of Amazon Insurance.“Supporting our teachers means the world to me,”

                       said Korn. “All these little things come together to make such a huge impact on our community and I am so grateful to be a part of that.”

 

WHY:             In these trying times of the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is more important than ever to support our community teachers and students.

 

                      The Meemic Foundation offers financial assistance to public, private, parochial and charter schools. Through its Foundation Advocates, educators are 

                      made aware and supported by local AAA Agents. 

 

WHEN:         Classroom reveals began Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. and will continue through August.
