Nebraska prices up an average of 27 cents during past month
12 March 2019

OMAHA, NE (March 11, 2019) ––– Unleaded fuel prices in Nebraska are up six cents a gallon during the past week to a statewide average of $2.39 a gallon, reports AAA-The Auto Club Group.  Gas price averages have steadily increased for the past month due to gradually decreasing gasoline stocks, higher crude oil prices, and rising demand.

“Higher crude oil costs are driving up gas prices across the country,” said Rose White, public affairs director, AAA-The Auto Club Group.  “Since the first of the year, crude has risen eleven dollars in the U.S. trading market.  With each dollar increase, we can expect pump prices to rise 2.5 cents a gallon.”
