NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 11, 2020) In response to the devastating tornadoes that hit Middle Tennessee last week, AAA -  The Auto Club Group will begin collecting non-perishable food items in its four Middle Tennessee branches beginning Wednesday, March 11 and continuing through the end of March. Items will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and will help provide food to those impacted by the storms now and for the days, weeks and months ahead.


For those who are unable to bring items to the branches, Second Harvest offers a virtual Food Drive option. Every one dollar raised through the virtual food drive, Second Harvest can provide four meals to those in need in Middle Tennessee. Monetary donations CANNOT be accepted at any AAA branch locations.

Most Essential Food Items Needed:

  • Pop-top canned meats
  • Vegetables and fruit
  • Ready-to-eat soups and stews
  • Peanut butter and crackers
  • Cereal
  • Breakfast/energy bars
