OMAHA, NE (July 8, 2019) The Cornhusker Motor Club Foundation will once again offer grant opportunities to assist Nebraska K-12 educators. Through this program, the Foundation has awarded nearly $170,000 to support teachers representing public, private, and parochial schools in Nebraska.
Funding opportunities include traditional grants in amounts up to $2,000, and literacy/book grants up to $500. The traditional grants are designed to fund innovative programs or projects that will significantly enhance the students’ classroom experience. Literacy/book grants may be used for classroom or library reading materials that will challenge and excite students.
Any employee of a public, private, or parochial school, grades K-12 in Nebraska may apply for a grant through the Cornhusker Motor Club Foundation’s online application process. Details pertaining to the program, including a list of the most recent grant award winning schools, can be found at www.CornhuskerFoundation.org. This year’s submission deadline is October 1, 2019. Grants will be awarded no later than December 15, 2019.
